When it comes to food, Zahir is one of the more spontaneous chefs you will find in Hong Kong. His cooking is fun and filled with passion. “I totally express myself through food, there’s no other way for me.” Originally from South Africa, Zahir moved to Hong Kong 3 years ago and brought his restaurant, Baked, to Soho in Central. Over the span of a few months, we captured the good vibes at Baked. Our filmer Ollie also followed Zahir around Soho and back to his apartment where he cooked up a very unique steak pasta.
